Second consecutive Dutch Masters podium for Jumbo Husqvarna BT Racing

Second consecutive Dutch Masters podium for Jumbo Husqvarna BT Racing

Jumbo Husqvarna BT Racing took their second consecutive Dutch Masters podium in Oldebroek last Monday. Lucas Coenen finished second overall while Sacha Coenen did a great job as well by finishing third in the opening moto.

It was Sacha who found his rhythm immediately in time practice and managed to set the second fastest time. Lucas did several fast laps and finally ended the session in ninth.

In the first moto it was Lucas who took the holeshot with Sacha not far behind. Both riders came out of the first lap in second and third position. They were riding a consistent moto and managed to finish in second (Lucas) and third (Sacha).

In the second moto it was again Sacha who took the best start. He came out of the first lap in second and was following the leader. Due to a small mistake he lost the leader out of his sights. He stayed calm and finished the moto in a strong second position. Sacha fought his way back to fourth after a not so good start. He held on to this position for a few laps till he lost a position and dropped back to fifth. Unfortunately he ran into a problem and lost a lot of positions in the final lap to finally finish the race in seventeenth position.

With a 2-2 in the motos it was Lucas who ended the day in second position. This is his position in the championship as well. Sacha finished in tenth position overall and sits in sixth position in the championship. On the 1st of May the championship will continue in Harfsen.
